Rounds is a free NREMT prep tool built by working EMS instructors. We try to keep this simple: we collect the smallest amount of information we need to build the product and stay in touch with you, and we never sell your data. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

Who we are

This site (roundsems.com) and the upcoming Rounds NREMT prep app are operated by Rounds Education LLC, a Florida limited liability company. When this policy says "Rounds," "we," "us," or "our," we mean Rounds Education LLC.

Information we collect

Email address. If you sign up for our waitlist or updates, we collect the email address you give us so we can send you product news and launch information.

Basic technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically receives standard request data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, and a timestamp. This is used for site reliability and security.

Information you send us. If you email us at hello@roundsems.com, we keep that message and our reply so we can help you.

App information (once the app launches). When the Rounds app is released, it will collect the information needed to give you an account and let you study, including your email address, a hashed password, your study activity (questions answered, scores, progress), and basic device information. We will update this policy with specifics before launch, and you will be asked to agree before creating an account.

How we use your information

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with the service providers we need to run Rounds, and only what those providers need to do their job. Today that means:

When the app launches, additional providers may be involved (for authentication, crash reporting, basic analytics). We will list them here when they are in use.

We may also disclose information if we are required to by law, a valid court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Rounds or our users.

Your choices

Cookies and tracking

This site uses only the essential cookies needed for the page and the signup form to work. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking pixels on roundsems.com today. If we add analytics or marketing pixels later, we will list them in this section.

Children's privacy

Rounds is intended for users 16 and older who are studying for the National Registry EMT or paramedic exam. The site and app are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us at hello@roundsems.com and we will delete it.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we work to limit risk.

Data retention

We keep your email address and any messages you send us for as long as you remain subscribed or until you ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and operational reasons. When the app launches, account data will be kept while your account is active and deleted on request.

International visitors

Rounds is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different privacy laws than your country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page, and for significant changes we will give notice on the site or by email.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
